Gather for a friendly neighborhood Turkey Trot to kick off Thanksgiving morning. We even have a walking route, so whether you walk, jog, or sprint, it’s all about having a great time together. Feel free to bring your crowd-friendly dog too! Click here for a map of the route. We’ll have some light refreshments and good company waiting for you at the finish line. Let’s make this a memorable start to your Thanksgiving Day!
To demonstrate our community spirit, we are asking for donations or volunteers for Germantown HELP. They deliver emergency food, and prescription assistance all year round and are the sponsor of holiday help to local residents of Germantown, MD, which will assist at least 900 homes this holiday season. Milestone families can help by donating cash directly to the Holiday Giving Project at Germantown HELP or donating gift cards for local stores like Target, Walmart, and grocery stores.
Please bring the cards to the turkey trot, and we will deliver them to Germantown HELP. Anyone interested in volunteering to help sort or deliver toys in December, send an email to info.gtownhelp@gmail.com to volunteer your time.
