Governing and other important documents for Milestone HOA
Bylaws
The Bylaws govern how the HOA operates and contain the information needed to manage the HOA for the community. The Bylaws cover matters including how often the HOA holds meetings, how the meetings are conducted, the duties of the various offices of the board of directors, how many people are on the board, and membership voting rights, to name a few.
Declaration
The Declaration of CC&Rs is the legal document that lays out the guidelines for the community. The CC&Rs are recorded in the land records in Montgomery County and are legally binding. Also see the Exhibit A Supplements. Also available is the P.I.C.E.A. Declaration of Covenant between the County and the Developer.
Articles of Incorporation
Often called "the articles," these documents set the name of the HOA. This creates the association as a legal entity, and is a necessary prelude to all the other steps when forming an incorporated HOA.
